Sing, Sing

Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise is the assembly of the saints. -Psalm 149:1

The songs of God never grow old. May our songs always be heard. Praise and worship we bring to the Giver of life, for God is the source of our joy. Praise be to God. Sing His worship all your days and may your songs be neverending.

Prayer

Lord, Your name be lifted on high, for You are the mighty God. Praises be to Your name and may those praises be eternal. Amen

Christ the Shepherd

When the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away. -1 Peter 5:4

Christ will appear again. He will come again and He will never fade. He is our Shepherd, our Protector, and when He comes we will all be awaiting Him, praising Him. Lift the Lords name on high, of He is holy.

Prayer

Lord, I await Your presence. Even though You are always with me in my life, I await the day when I can forever be with You in Your kingdom. Amen

The Fortress of God

The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!    -2 Samuel 22:47

The Lord God, Creator of all, He is the fortress of my faith. My Savior and Friend, my God is the rock solid foundation of my life. God is your saftey, He is your friend when you feel lonely. God will always be with you, protecting you and watching over you. Praise God.

Prayer

Lord God, I thank You for being with me. You are my fortress and my protector. I am safe, because I am always in Your loving arms. My Father and my Friend, Your love is amazing. Amen

Be Faithful

Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. -1 Corinthians 4:2

God has entrusted you with grace. You give yourself to God and Christ’s grace is spread out on your life. But you must remain faithful to God’s mission for your life, do not stray from His path of grace.  Prove your faith and keep it steady through your life.

Prayer

Lord, Your grace is amazing, I am unworthy of it. But I will remain faithful to Your Word and will be my best for You. Increase my faith in my daily interactions. Amen

Be in Harmony

Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. – 1 Peter 3:8

When we are in harmony with God, we are in harmony with the world. After all, it is His world. When we are in harmony with others, we are in tune with each other through Christ. We must create harmony in the world, to spread God’s compassion.

Prayer

God, we harmonize t0gther under Your name. We are one in You. When the world around us is at peace, we look to You. You bring us peace. Amen

Those Before

One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. -Psalm 145:4

God’s work is the good news. Pass on the good news. Generations of Christians have brought us to the point we are at now. Continue the work of God that those before you have done. We are all doing the work of God for those who came before and those who will be after us.

Prayer

Lord, we have kept Your Word alive for generations. We work today to continue spreading Your good news to future generations. Please Lord, help us in our tasks. Amen

Christ Holds You Up

The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down.  -Psalm 145:14

How can you ever be down as a Christian? Christ holds us up. Ok, sure we can fall, we can be down, but our Lord will pick us up everytime. With Christ holding you up, you can never be kept down.

Prayer

Lord, You are my shoulder to lean on. You hold me up when I have fallen. You don’t just support me, You raise me up. You bring me to a level I never dreamed of being at. Thank You. Amen

The Greatest Wonder Not of the World

Great is the Lord and most worthy or praise; his greatness no one can fathom.  -Psalm 145:3

Imagine the greatest wonder in the world. God is greater. God is not of the world and He is the greatest of all. We have no knowledge for His greatness, it is to immence for our understanding. God is the greatest, no one can match Him.

Prayer

All praise goes to God, the greatest of the great. When we strive to be great, we are dim in the shining light of Your glory. You  are  greater than we can know.  Amen

Joy in Jesus

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.  – Psalm 126:5

Jesus will dry all your tears. The joy of having Him in your life is so much that there is no need to be sad. Having a deep relationship with Jesus is the most comforting thing possible. Do not dwell in sorrow, for Jesus is with you.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You are here to dry my tears and bring me joy. The joy of Your salvation keeps me going in life. This blessed joy I recieve is enough to keep me joyous always. Amen

Eyes of Faith, not Sight

We live by faith, not by sight.  – 2 Corinthians 5:7

The gospel gives us faith, eyes to our soul. Not eyes to see with, but eyes for our faith. God opens the eyes of our faith. We live by our faith, not by what we see, but by what we believe. We become strong in our faith through, prayer, practice, discussion, and worship of God.  See better, have a stronger faith, do not trust your eyes, trust your soul.

Prayer

Lord, you make my soul strong. You keep my faith alive and even when I cannot see what lies ahead, I know that You are here with me and You area all I need. My faith is strong, please make it stronger. Thank You. Amen
